Relay 2003 brake line flaring

Post by Oliver53 »

I'm going to buy a flaring tool for replacing a couple of brake lines on my 2003 Relay. Does anyone know what type of flare it has, DIN or SAE? Cheers.

brake flaring pools are standard, just make sure you use copper pipe (about £15/20 ) for a coil, not the nickel. the nickel pipe is hard to flair for the trumpet end I found that it keeps splitting, the old pipe on your car is metal and it is very hard to flair, it is better to replace than try to flair, you can use the same ends as you take off if you are careful
