I used to know this off by heart, but the grey cells aren't what they were.
Anybody know what the ohms value across the crankshaft sensor terminals should be? I've found a box of they, all brand new & genuine, in the workshop. Pt No: 5918.88.
CX crankshaft sensor values.

Re: CX crankshaft sensor values.
I have a feeling the old inductive crank sensors are around 350-380 ohms. Thats the figures that first came into my head.
Im the same, 15 years ago I could have told you that off the top of my head but inductive crank sensors have slowly been getting phased out in favour of Hall effect.

Thanks for the reply.
I'm not sure your figure of 350-380 ohms is correct, as I had a different figure in my memory. I was hoping not have to go digging through the CX technical stuff to find the listed rating.
