Re: Rear boot speaker system

Unread post by GiveMeABreak »

He has the HiFi system option. This is a cabriolet and has the rear bass unit speaker.

If the previous owner has hashed everything about, then there's not an awful lot we can do at this end - apart from provide you with the original wiring diagram for the equipment you had when the vehicle left the factory. I have provided all this on the previous page of this post showing the RD3 and the Amp outputs.

I'll leave this with you two now as I don't think there's anything more I can add and it's getting a bit convoluted.

Thank you Marc for your help in this what was very confusing to me, what i did was cross reference all you and others gave and made a rough drawing as seen in an earlier post of mine i then found a 206cc being broken for parts contacted the seller it had the same music system they sent photos of both plugs for the cd player and i then checked with my rough drawing it looked good so i went for it and hey presto it worked ,
So many thanks for all help with this very tough for me to do as im no electrician with out the help from here id of been very lost.

Thank you again.

I will now leave you in peace... 8-[
