Xsara picasso front seat swop

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I've had a 53 plate 2l diesel xsara picasso for the last 10 years. Unfortunately the time has come for it to be scrapped.
But I was wanting to move the good parts to my partners 51 plate 1.6l petrol picasso. However when when it came to swapping the front seats, we noticed the connectors for the airbags are slightly different. My 53 plate diesel has a green connector and the 51 plate petrol has a black connector. Also the wires are a different colour. Is this something someone has come across before. Is it just a simple plug them in and it should work or does it need re wiring?
I wouldn't bother but the seats in hers are very tatty and the drivers seat seems to have sagged.

Any advice is much appreciated.
