I edited in a FK which i missed from the original list of Worcester registrations 1903-74

and from an old film here's a FK on an old police car. Does it have a Winkworth Bell?

We used to go fishing in a canal at Martin Hussingtree then walk back to Droitwich to catch the late Midland Red bus back to Brum.

My initial look into Pickersleigh Road has yielded quite a lot of websites about it. I picked out the place I might go for new tyres were I in that area because the business name intrigued me: :-D

I assume you are referring to a certain car manufacturer Neil, but I thought I'd leave that in the hope of gaining another member's interest! Hence I found a business in the right road with a potential link to the one you were possibly expecting?!! :-D

Yes, curiosity is in short supply, but yes the traditional British as tagliatelle car maker has been there for 100 years!
I think waiting for an avalanche of participation to give the firm its justifiable place in Worcestershire's day-ish in the spotlight, will not occur before "move-on" time :-D

We cant risk another snub like Chris Kelly and the Wish you were here report, failing to give it a single mention. Had I worked for "Wish you were here" in the 1970's I would have been banging on the door of the car maker, and getting a freebie car to drive round on the location shots.

So lob in what you find Mick, I'll be lobbing in a couple of photos if I can find them entitled Worcestershire's Finest for one of them , and possibly Worcestershire's parts-bin special for the other :-D

One of my managers in Sweden bought a +8. I often had to drive out and bring him to work in it when he had over imbibed the night before (drinking at work was standard).
His girlfriend found it difficult to drive and crashed it a bit.
I had to write to Morgan to have a gallon of the paint sent over. Ruinously expensive.
I can't recall writing to Worcester though. Of course, it was in 1969.

Have we done Pembrokeshire yet?

Pembrokeshire had its day in the Spotlight here, Easter Monday as it turned out. 27th to pop out of the random number generator.
