Probably the most well known castle of the lot, but only just got it. That statue in the background is of Prince Christian Victor of Schleswig-Holstein Queen Victoria's grandson!

I'm afraid I had a secret advantage for that one. While at school I took part in the twice yearly charity walks from Rickmansworth to Windsor in aid of the Save the Children Fund. Each walk ended just inside that gate at St George's Chapel where we all had our sponsor sheets signed by the chaplain. So I've been in and out 9 times in total as I missed the 3rd year Whitsun walk through a family wedding!! The shop to the left of Art Deco used to be a snack bar where we got ice creams as a reward!! Brought back some good memories that Neil, thanks for kicking it off :-D

Fair bit of insect carnage on the numberplate... I was beginning to think it was a thing of the past.

These are definitely interesting - 2011-2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. I'm not sure whether they're supposed to signify a flower, an atom, or what...

If it turns your head when you see it, that's interesting in my book :-D

I think on the whole I prefer simple adequacy and inexpensiveness in lights on a vehicle. I think the lighting designers have gone wild, because the general shape of most cars is pretty boring especially the SUV obsession.

These do me, although if they are originals they probably still fail on the adequacy and inexpensiveness criteria simply for the metalwork they are attached to. Look to me like the sort of stuff fitted to the cheapest Mini or Minor :-D

A lot of the recent lighting solutions for cars are horrendous.
But then, so are the cars that bear them.
As above.
