Peugeot 5008 Heater matrix removal

Post by Unterhunt »

Hello.
Because of leaking I must remove and change the heater matrix on my 5008. I have a problem as I can't remove it because of the steering column. Does anyone have any advice on how to tackle this without tearing up the entire dashboard? Thanks for the answers.
Car is Peugeot 5008 2015

I can't really help you with the left hand drive, as on the right hand drive it would mean removing the glovebox on the left side to provide access.

But on other left hand drives I have seen, after draining all the coolant out the circuit, you would likely have to remove some trim and the accelerator pedal from the driver side (left) to get access to the area where the matrix is.
