Hi all, whilst having fun on the drive sorting my power steering pipe issue out I noticed a small leak from the sump, so while it was on stands etc I've taken the sump down, cleaned out all the slime etc in the bottom of it and flushed the pick up through.
Put it all back together and now I have an engine oil level incorrect message on dash. Even though on the dipstick it's showing one or two segments below full.
I thought maybe I'd caught the level sensor but I'm reading that would give an invalid error.
If it was an oil pressure issue would it say oil pressure and leave a stop lamp on the dash please or might it just settle down after a while?
