C8 analogue dial cluster removal?

Hi, searched but can't find an answer- how do you remove the 3 pod analogue speedo etc cluster from the basic type C8? I don't want to attack anything without knowing in advance what to do! Many thanks, Pete

I think you have to remove the central panel under the 3 pod display to get to the pod behind. Ignore the picture that shows the large display in the middle, it's the same for both variants.

• Unclip the central shelf.
• Remove the 2 instrument panel fixing screws.
• Detach the instrument panel and visor assembly (pull towards you).
• Disconnect the electric harnesses.
• Remove the instrument panel.

Marc, you are a true Gent! I had a horrid feeling there would be hidden clips for the unwary to snap/gouge at!
