C5 VTR estate -ride height down
Hi. I am looking at a C5 VTR estate that ran through standing water at speed and now the ride height has dropped. Any suggestions as to the problem and how to fix it? The rear started sagging first and now the suspension is fully down and will not raise it's self. cheers

Where do you want to start? Water + Electronics = Disaster + Expense.
Water may have penetrated the height correctors on the axle which could be sending faulty data to the suspension ECU in the BHI.
Water could of got into the BHI electronics and wrecked it.
Water could of got into the electric pump and blown the fuses or relays.
There are so many possibilities - it needs a proper overhaul and time to locate the problems.

Not a 5 minute job then! The car is in very good condition and still runs very well. It is down near my daughter's so not easy to be able to get to work on and not an option to drive back to Scotland. Hey ho! We'll see.
