Evening everybody, I'm going to be doing an oil change soon, and was wondering as to which grade is the correct one, as I have received contradicting recommendations from friends in the past

Your 9HX engine is a DV6ATED4 and is designed to take the following oils: I have listed these with the PSA Standards.
B71 2312 0W30 Oil
B71 2290 5W30 Oil
B71 2296 5W40 Oil
B71 2300 10W40 Oil
So now you know that, take a look at this guide and the first graphic to determine the temperature range to see the protection that each oil grade provides and pick one that is in the most appropriate temperature extremes where you live:
