Heardle Wasn't expecting todays heardle to go back so far, so was thinking bit like the band from Leicester but no options. If you are a proper fan you will get it pretty immediately, if you are like me, know of their work and like some of it, but have never bought one of their albums, its one of their familiar enough offerings.

Written in on tour in Reykjavik apparently...

took 6 today maybe wasting my first turn by including a long-shot Z didn't pay off!

Nerdle Nerdle got it in 4

Heardle got it in 16. It will not be too much help but the track is over 50 years old, so in the right era for us regular players

A not so good day for me on the dles, 4,5,3, knew the artist after 4secs but no idea of the track, and a 5.
Disappointed by my showing on Worldle, should have got that without the trip to the east!!

I regard all is fair in Heardles so the list of options on part-filling the box is quite valid. With me I only twigged it was the band after the vocal came in and couldnt put a name to the song immediately but the options nailed it, with a little confirmation from youtube.

I don't usually bother with the look up because if I don't know the track, reading the titles won't help me. I recognised Zeppelin because my sister was a fan but I didn't take to them!

Heardle got it in 11 seconds. and the surprising thing one of Steve's PE Jukebox post-able female artists, was "sampled" the Heardle Track for today from this, ...have a peep here if you like...

Worldle bullseye, looks raggy-er in the ink blot than I imagined, and I prefaced my attempt with the words "I know its not X but I'll try it anyway!"

Joins Dolly Parton's "Jolene", and The first chord on the Beatles' "Hard Days Night", as being one of the most recognisable first seconds in popular music.

Interesting fallacy discovered in Heardle!! As predicted I got it more or less instantly but posted my answer the wrong way round "dancing queen - abba" . The app vetoed that and gave me a strike, I then re-entered "abba - dancing queen" only to be vetoed again and a second strike. On adding the capital letters "Abba - Dancing Queen" it congratulated me on being a star!!! Altogether gave me average scores of 3, 3, 3, 4 secs , 4
