Dear experts, I am new to this forum and I am in a juncture of either refurbished my existing head or sourcing for new / used ones.
My engine is XN1 2.0L from a '75 504 with original XN1 head.
I read from various source but I cannot confirm this, that XN1A head are having 4 inlet ports instead of 2 ports of XN1.
I am aware the XN2 from Ti engine also having 4 inlet ports but that parts is not available for me at the moment.
I also heard XN1A is for 1.8L engine but the bores are the same as 2.0?
Are they interchangeable? I am aware I need to get different intake manifold to supply 4 inlet ports.

Re: XN1 vs XN1A head
I can't help you with this one sorry, due to the lack of resources available electronically for the age of the vehicle.
Despite monsoon season, the cars in Singapore hardly rust , so have a longer lifespan! Hopefully somebody may know the answer. We had a Ford Zephyr when I lived there for a few years back in the 70s.
