Citroen C8 colour code- help needed! (again!)

Me again! Tried 2 paint suppliers for paint, the colour code as per all I can understand is the first 4 digits of the label in the door shut, which is also embodied in the VIN number. In this instance the code is EBRH (ME being the last 2 digits after that). It is a metallic red, seen other Citroens in what looks the same shade, but I am being told it is not a correct code! Can anyone shed any light on the matter please?

No, ignore all that Pete, the VIN contains nothing about the paint code directly (although we use that to look up your vehicle and find the actual code).

Your Code for the C8 is code EKQ. This is called Wicked Red Metallic.

In some other countries they use the name ROJO LUCIFER NACRE

Wicked Red was the same as my first new C5 (2001)

Out of interest what do you need the paint for? I have half an aerosol can of EKQ left over from the work on my C5 which may be useful if you are just touching up.?
It was an excellent match and I can let you know the supplier if that helps. No use to me any more having sold the car!!

I see you are in North Essex Pete, I am in Hertford and would be happy to meet you halfway to pass it over. I wouldn't want to put it in the post as it is an opened aerosol and too much grief. I don't want anything for it, happy to see it get used and give me a space on the shelf
