While browsing another subject I came across this castle which has a classic resemblance to the central building in a London tourist spot! :-D

...and seeing as we are working from a pre-1975 set of Old Counties, Callender was at the time firmly part of Perthshire.

How do you create a stir when entering a car park, drive in in some BMW's, or Porsches. No in the uk in the 21st Century 3 capri's should do it.

I present a trio of Capris in Callender Car park

Perthshire's day-ish in the spotlight coming to a close so if you have a contribution to make get it in.

Its a holiday destination stayed many times at Crieff, and Perth, and toured all around loch Tay, loch Tummel, Pitlochry
Callendar, Aberfeldy, Lochearnhead, Comrie etc etc,

The little distillery at Edradour at the time we visited had a wonderfully Heath Robinson cooling pipework for the still external to the building and fed by the burn.

I don't really do cricket but wasn't it around that time Somerset had a couple of the 'Windies' guys in the team, Viv Richards etc. and of course Botham?
