Hi, My 2015 C1 air con is making a weird noise that it previously wasn't making. I've never had air con in a car, so I'm really unsure of what the noise is. I've not really used it before because it's been cold but today was quite warm so I turned it on and it's starting making this noise.
It's almost like a kind of hiss, a high pitched hiss or something like that. It can only be heard inside the car when I turn the AC on, kinda near the centre console. I've recorded a couple of videos of the sound that I've linked to here.

It's the higher pitched sound above the fan sound.
Does anyone know what it could be? The car is used but still under dealer warranty.

I cant hear anything abnormal in any of those videos. On A/C systems in general its not unusual to get a hissing sound like gas escaping inside the car when the A/C is first switched on. It can be more noticeable when the A/C hasn't been used for a while.

I had the Aircon on for about 20-30 mins today and it never went away. It really is quite audible while inside the car. The second video is better to hear it than the first, particularly at the end of it.
I also don't think it's coming out very cold either. I mean it's cold, but not as cold as I thought it would be. Could it need refilling or something? Is there any kind of check I can do in it to see if it needs refilling?

Hissing sound could be due to low gas and could be why it isn't blowing cold enough air. I had that problem with my previous car when there was a small (and slow) leak in the system.
I don't know if there is some way to check for a leak because I always get my car to A/C service when I have an issue.
Eventually, it will stop working and you will know that you have a leak in the system.
