Re: Activa procured!
So I ordered, cleaned and fitted a parcel shelf as it was looking very bare back there
I also ordered some mats as you can see!
Sadly, they don't fit, they're about 3 inches too wide and 8 inches too long!
But the gear knob and gaiter fits after a bit of fettling, it's horrible quality though, but better than what was there! When I can find a proper one it will be replaced.
Also my brand new bonnet turned up for it, very surprised to find one!
Also ordered a pair of height correctors as spares just in case, you never know!

Liam - can I suggest you place a post in our For Sale / Wanted Section, as potential buyers won't necessarily be seeing this thread.

Re: Activa procured!
Hopefully this is being sold, will be more news this weekend but it looks like it's going to a good home.
Very, very sad for it to be leaving, but I'd rather it didn't sit here deteriorating until I get time to do it.

Re: Activa procured!
Just a little update. I have bought the car and I’m looking forward to getting this back to health very shortly. In fact it’s going into the body shop tomorrow for a respray. Only problem is I will then have two good Activas. How I’m going to justify that to my lovely wife I have no idea..

Re: Activa procured!
Mark I see we have a bit in common (but only a bit). I also have 2 Activas (both Turbo CT) and 2 605s (both PRV V6) - but only one (a 1995 V6 605) is going and registered. Both are every bit as rare downunder as they are for you.
One Activa runs (and is driveable) but there's quite a bit to be done before I could hope to get it registered, while the other has a blown up motor and other problems.
The 605 that is unregistered actually has a straighter body than the registered one, but I have pinched parts off it to keep the other one going.
I will be following this story with interest - hopefully you will help supply the motivation I need to get my red Activa back on the road!!

Very much got a lot in common! My 605 is a cracker but dosent get used as much as I would like..
Tough choice ahead though, one of my Activas will have to go.

Re: Activa procured!
Little update - a second respray due to a bad reaction in the primer. A few suspension maladies fixed. Sunroof motor replaced. All belts, fluids and filters replaced. And we nearly have a finished car… should be picking it up soon.

Looks positive despite the primer poser. Looking forward to seeing some pics!!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
