But you can't go to Suffolk without a visit to Flatford Mill, there are many pictures included in the following link but there was only one to put here:

The great John Peel lived near the village of Great Finborough, Stowmarket in Suffolk, He cheekily called his thatched cottage house Peel Acres and built a sound studio there so he didn't need to go to London too often.
More info here https://peel.fandom.com/wiki/Peel_Acres
I have located the house but I won't post the location as I believe the family still lives there.

As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Re: Today's County in the spotlight
My turn to put up a quick quiz about the current county Suffolk. I very much doubt anyone will know the answers to these without some research which gives you all the chance to prove me wrong!
1 What event might you see in October at RSPB Minsmere?
2. Who had a scallop on the beach?
3. Who was Willy Lott?
4. What special building depends on the River Deben?
5. Which famous character was born in Lavenham?
Answers in spoilers please to allow others the choice of seeing them or not.

Re: Today's County in the spotlight
Your Framlingham castle is in the middle of Sheeran-ville, and featured in Ed's song "Castle on the Hill" and the video. I'm not keen on the lyrics from that song about "driving at 90 down those country lanes", and you'd need a bit of poetic licence if indeed recklessly about to plough into another road user driving at such speeds you would ever select "tiny dancer" to sing to, good as the song is.

Driving at 90 down those country lanes
Singing to Tiny Dancer
And I miss the way you make me feel, and it's real
When we watched the sunset over the castle on the hill

Re: Today's County in the spotlight
Suffolk does have the most easternmost point in Great Britain, but maybe doesn't offer the Land's end tourist fingerpost signpost experience down in Cornwall, as you have to negotiate your way through an industrial estate to get there, and you arrive at a very underwhelming "Euroscope" set in concrete in a concrete "promenade" with distances to notable cities across the water marked inconspicuously in a metal outer ring.
Still for the wind turbine tourist nearby is a wind turbine which once upon a time was Britain's largest.
