Rubber .

Unread post by Huskyxantia »

Last year i fitted 2 new drop links to my car
Today they look like they have been on it for 15 years the rubbers have cracked so bad you can see inside them what the heck is going one ? Never in my days have i ever seen this.

Anyone else had the same with other components ?

Euro Car Parts junk?
Did you make sure the boots didn’t start twisting as you tightened the nuts?

No twist on the boots, my brother-in-law did tell me that all of a sudden lots of parts that have rubber covers are degrading faster than normal.
As for Euro car parts i stopped using them over 7 years ago full of computer screen watchers that know nothing at all about cars let alone parts. My old haunt 4U2FIT closed several years ago proper old school motor factors with a chap that run it full of tips tricks and know how of all sorts of cars .
