Just recently, the central locking on my Berlingo has decided it will activate itself once I have started moving in the car.
I'm at a loss to see what it could be.
Anybody had any experience of this?
If so, what did you do to resolve it please?

Re: Berlingo Central locking
Yes it is by design. Once you move off at a certain speed, the vehicle locks the doors for safety reasons. Another purpose is to help prevent car jacking when you are stopped at lights - preventing a would be thief from opening the door and grabbing the wife's handbag etc.
You can disable the function. If you locate the manual central locking button on the dashboard (it should have a padlock symbol in), holding this down for a few seconds with the ignition on should deactivate or reactivate the function as needed.
It's a good safety feature and does not prevent you opening the doors from the inside. In an emergency situation like a collision, the doors are automatically unlocked anyway.
