Re: Pickled Egg Jukebox-Your Selections
Apparently launched this day in 1973. They don't make them like that any more.
Anyone know the lyrics?

And, please note, it's Lefftennant Pigeon not Lootennant Pigeon. I cringed when I heard Jonathan Ross mispronounce this a few years back.

Re: Pickled Egg Jukebox-Your Selections
Well seeing as 1966 is the random number of today, (see POTD thread) what was in the Top 40 charts 21st February 1966.
The chart was topped by Nancy Sinatra and at position number 4 was Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass
Heres the chart
https://www.officialcharts.com/charts/u ... 17/750140/
So see if there's anything that captures your interest in the chart, and in the meantime, take it away Herb...

The sound of music didn't start off with Julie Andrews of course, Larry Hagman's mum and Patricia Newey did a bit of warbling before Julie

Donna Reed for one season. Don't forget her.

I thought you might all be too young to get the 'Along came Jones.' bit Neil.

Too young for the film, just about there for the coasters, but right on time in March 2022 with a bit of curiosity, and the internet at my disposalGibbo2286 wrote: 07 Mar 2022, 17:26 I thought you might all be too young to get the 'Along came Jones.' bit Neil.

Re: P.Egg Jukebox-Car Theme-Anything Goes!
Back to the PE Jukebox Archives..Neal Schon. For those who like a bit of Blues/Rock singing as I do the vocal in the follow on vid is excellent.
NewcastleFalcon wrote: 29 May 2017, 22:27 I'll shove a bit of Neal Schon on the PE Jukebox for the car-related "T"
Yes he's playing at his own wedding, a tune written for his bride. Probably most well known for his efforts with Journey, but also in his earlier days was part of Santana and played on Caravanserai....say no more! Great guitarist in his own right.
Regards Neil
