1,3,5 for me today:
6 and out, 3 and 4 for me. Flailing around guessing with the Worldle nearest I got was Ghana, don't at this moment know the shapes or juxtapositions of many of the African Countries.

I'll make a start on the placenames quiz without rushing to attempt to finish it all off in one sitting, sure I will have to come back for some assistance at some point.

A fine effort there Neil! :-D
Number 4 on both, although valid ro match the clues, are not what is on the card.
I cannot read your herts no 6 though it doesn't look right. Your Essex no 6 is wrong! :-D
Further clues could be supplied if you want?

6H "A rack over the range" think I have exhausted my search on that one my answer was Standon Green End With Stand being "Rack" and "Green" being range as in. Hat Field may have a similar Hat (Rack) and Field for "Range"

6E Top of a Con Rod....in Yorkshire accent "T' end ring" Small end as opposed to Big End!

Nice to get the answers on the card so Happy for any clues for all of them I'm missing please :-D

6h is referring to a cooking range
6e is indeed the opposite of big end

4h, sculpter could have been carver, its about what they do, not who they are.

4e alternative clue: former tory pm cremated

:-D

6H Panshanger would have taken a lot of finding without the additional clue :-D

Few more hints on Essex required Presumably the Ex tory MP is Heath with Moor in the original clue.

and the conrod clue Small end Little something maybe...shame it wasnt T' end ring"
