Citroen C5 exclusive no sound

Hi all I'm just new here ,I have a 2008 C5 exclusive ,I have absolutely no sound coming from the speaker's for radio CD sat nav ,I went to a Citroen mechanic who put his computer on it and it says all functions are working ,I'm waiting on a disc to update but don't think that will work ,the radio works the cd is working you can fast forward and skip but not a sound out the speaker's even if volume up full any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, as there been any electrical work done the car which may have disturbed, broken any wiring relating to the radio etc.

Can you confirm the mechanic used Diagbox to check the radio etc functions ?

Otherwise I would get my mulimeter out and check continuity of the wring. ie the speakers.

Other members will be along with their thoughts and it maybe worth checking the audio section on the site as well

Thanks for your reply yes he used diagbox which said there was no faults ,he suggested getting an update disc from Citroen to try that but said there should be something coming out the speaker's but there's nothing he suggested it might be 1 lose wire on one of the speaker's but trying to access all the speaker's

Does it have an aftermarket handsfree kit fitted?
If I remember right ( may be model specific though) you can do a beep test on each speaker with diagbox, do you know if this was done?

Don't know if that was done thanks but it was in a Citroen garage

does anyone have a wiring diagram of the audio system?
It's unusual to get no sound from any speaker and it suggests something common like an external amplifier (some C6's has a JBL amp) or head unit.

Really need to know more about the spec., configuration and a wiring diagram to make suggestions on how to approach troubleshooting.
