Hi guys,
I need to relace this part 1336 Y3. It's the water distribution box, on the top of the engine.
To do that, it seems that I should remove the AIR DOSER (0345 G1), but I'm not sure if that is possible (easily), as this part ends in a "V".
Can anyone tell me if this part (AIR DOSER) is possible to remove easily, or which steps should I follow to do it?
Thank you very much in advance!

The water distribution box (or thermostat housing) - does require removing the air doser.....and the corresponding inlet airflow calming housing.
The air doser gets pretty filthy inside it, so you may wish to assess cleaning this.
The seal from the calming housing, and the lower pipe is an important factor to consider when re-assembling too.

Rhys

Hi Rhys and thank you for your answer.
The question is how to remove the AIR DOSER. I mean, it's clear that the step 1 is to unplug the inlet airflow calming housing from the air doser.
But then, how should I remove the air doser from the other side if the tube ends in a "V" (where the intake valves #10 in the picture above)?
Is there no constraint or restriction to remove the air doser from that "V"?
Thank you
J.

The air doser (with the central bolt removed) will withdraw from ports of each bank. They just slide in with the rubber seals allowing the required movement.
No restriction...just be gentle. Plenty of plastic lines and hoses nearby that can be easily broken too.
Reassembly was more challenging, where I found that the final location of the doser was less critical, than the calming housing locating correctly on the lower hose, and its subsequent seal on the doser seal. If any of that makes any sense.

Rhys
