Hi guys I'm having a lot of trouble with my 2007 Citroen picasso 1.6hdi
Yesterday I finished replacing my 4 injector seals,
I had to leave the fuel pipes off over night while I waited on a slide hammer to be delivered, once it came I replaced the seals with ease and refitted everything only now it won't start, I had the usual airlocking problems that are so common with this engine so I used a external fuel pump to prime the filter only it still won't start.
I've left the injector supply pipes loose while cranking the engine and their doesn't seem to be any diesel reaching the injectors and I'm stumped as to why, I did disconnect the HP fuel pump block connector when removing the injectors but it seems to be fine now, I'm stumped as I've replaced multiple injector seals over the years without issue

Re: Citroen picasso fuel problems
Don't you hate it when they do that! Much easier when they were mechanical. Does yours have an in tank pump or the 'blood pressure' type rubber bulb, if it has the bulb does it come up hard when you pump it? Could still be an air problem I have had this with one on mine if I leave it standing for a few days, there is a leak on the input pipe connection to the pump but I am still trying to get to it.
Try giving it a squirt of 'easy start' it should fire up and spin the engine much faster that the starter.
