MOT success

Well the C5 has passed for another year, only advisory were the rear brakes which I will do when it gets slightly warmer.

C5 x7 2.0 HDi 160 hp Estate exclusive, moved on.
Xantia 2.0 Hdi 90hp 1999 only 189,000 and rising!!!!!!! Moved on to a new home
C3 1.4 petrol (SWMBO)
Xantia TD 1.9 Mk 2 Estate LX 1998 model over 210,000 miles now and still rising!!!!!!!!!!!!! now deceased 17/12/2010.

Well done Kenny, A February MOT date isn't ideal. For my own vehicles I did a bit of MOT engineering to move to a Summer date. For the Clio in the maintenance fleet I haven't as yet done that, and a MOT list to tackle in February is never a good idea.

Take today for example, at least its not wet/snowing but in spite of being bright and sunny there is a distinct gale blowing right down our street and should I choose to make a start on the car, blowing right up those parts that however well tucked in you start off, bare flesh will be exposed to the arctic blast. :-D

I know exactly what you mean.
Unfortunately, most dealerships will MOT a car if it's more than 6 months old. Hence my Feb MOT but I'm thinking about changing it to September when it was originally.
