Old ladies
Did a favour today took an old neighbour to Lidl, on return asked if she was ok "Yes thanks but I must get a cup of tea and some parabloodycetamol."
Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.

Re: Old ladies
More than a couple of decades ago I was on a course and made friends with a woman there. I gave her lifts on my way home, dropped her at the shops etc.
As the course ended I found that she lived near me and could have taken her there and back each day.
Didn't see her for a few years but recently have seen her walking up and down my street.
She has stopped for a word now and then, most recently to ask what I was doing as I was sprinkling soda crystals on the moss on the paths.
Saw her again yesterday, four houses away from mine, around a curve so normally out of sight.
Stopped to say I hadn't realised that she lived there and as the conversation evolved it turned out that she wasn't who I thought she was and she had lived there for the past ten years.
Ended up wire brushing the dead moss from her paths, she had used soda crystals to kill it but it leaves an unsightly mess.
Of course, while I was there several other old ladies and an old bloke came and expanded the conversation so a ten minute job took three hours.
Always the way.
Lived in this street for 37 years and barely know any of my neighbours.
