My Mum was a phenominal knitter too but all I can remember is 'knit one pearl one' gives you ribbing and alternating knit and pearl rows gives you stocking stitch!!! SWMBO is a crocheter not a knitter so conferring in Herts would have been pointless!! :-D

If you finished off the investigation Mick, are there any other "whole number" times (ie the minute element being an integer) in a 24 hour day when the hour hand and minute hand are at an angle of 120 degrees, apart from 4.00 and 8.00. :?:

No thanks Mick :-D one set of iterations were enough/too much for me. I struggled enough with the KS3 maths on the angles at particular times :-D

Now what trivia can be extracted from this can in the undergrowth put up on POTD.
DSC01092.JPG
I can tell you it is no ordinary can.

It is labeled up not as Brut 33 from the splash it all over adverts, which was derived from being 33% strength compared to the original 1964 fragrance from Faberge, but as "Brut for Men" and it still carries the Faberge name.

I'm no Brut expert, but it could be a very old can from the 1960's.

Would be good if others could chip in. How many "celebrities" can you name who appeared in those Brut 33 adverts, dig out the clips. Did you/ do you use it or did you go for something else like Old Spice/ Denim/ Arid Extra dry , Aramis etc etc. I'm thinking everyone who was there in the 7o's will have used Brut at some point. :-D

I have never been near it myself, in those days I was a Blue Stratos man, which I think was because it was cheap from Woolies!! :-D

Two other Celebrities who did Brut 33 adverts with 'enry were Harvey Smith and Olympic Champion 400 metres hurdles from 1968 in Mexico David Hemery.

Here's his Brut Advert "That's why Brut has been selected by the British Olympic Team"

Next time "The man with the golden Gun" is on watch out for the appearance of a Brut Aerosol Deodorant. James Bond uses it in self defence.
