Hi everyone,
I hope someone can help...
The passenger wing mirror on my Citroen DS5 is no longer working. The motor still makes a noise but the mirror won't move. I've moved it manually, but don't want to do that too much and cause more damage.
Does anyone have any idea on how this issue could be fixed, or is this a trip to the garage?
Thanks,
Lee

Re: Ds5 Wing mirror
Hi Lee
Sometimes the mirrors can become disengaged from the actual mechanical position to the electrical position. With the car unlocked where the mirrors are supposed to be unfolded, manually move the mirror to the folded position.
Then operate the remote locking 4-5 times to see if it will re-engage. If not, then the plastic motor gearing may be worn down, necessitating a replacement.

Thanks for the tip Marc. I tried and it didn't work, so it's a trip to the garage then...
