Our house front windows look out WNW and the back windows ESE. Unfortunately being a semi we only have one window on the side which looks NNE so I simply cannot see the moon currently at 181 degrees with an elevation of 30 degrees above the horizon and its too damn cold to go outside!!

We did have one clear night a few days ago and I forgot to look, so used to not being able to see anything.

Is that Betelgeuse in the lower part of the picture?

I have been on an enforced arctic perambulation (took the car back to my son's place) and there was the moon and even a few stars. No camera though.
