C5 x7 Hydractive Front Driver Strut - where to buy?

Unread post by davoxx »

Where is the cheapest/best place to buy a C5 x7 Hydractive Front Driver Strut?
Delivered to either Northern Ireland or Ireland.

Also is 5271L6 the correct part number for this?

https://moto-dynamic.com/cylinder-5271l6,3,21803,32247 is 205 euro.
why?

5271L5 is the left and 5271L6 is the right strut.

As for shipping, you'll need to check - I had my last one from Poland, but until they sort out the mess with customs regarding the Ireland / Northern Island situation, it would be best to confirm any possible additional charges with the seller.

I used Eurocarcare.co.uk in Derby when I needed a strut for my C6 and can recommend them.

I bought one from this seller on Ebay.
Quick, genuine and reasonably priced (but if Eurocarcare had had one in stock at the time then I'd have probably bought from there instead.)

I order the one from Poland, worked out the cheapest for me.

The leak is caused by the NCT centre raising the car and dropping it without following the procedures.
I spoke to the supervisor of the NCT centre and he said they did follow manufactures procedure, so unless I had something, it wasn't their fault.

Does anyone have or know where I can get an 'official' set of instructions for lifting the Hydractive C5 X7?
why?
