[Hi I had that problem twice so far. first at 40.000 km from new. Started to slip in 5th and 6th gear and was replaced under warranty by dealer (clutch + DMF). Second one started to slip after exactly the same km mark but was out of warranty already. It worked from 80kkm till 235 kkm. Sliping for a day or two then working normali for few days and made a slip or two again then working normali for next few days.... Installed a LUK DMF, shaft seal and now passed 37 kkm and waiting to see if it will survive 40 kkm mark! [-o<

I have just noticed that clutch kits have got much cheaper, LUK clutch and flywheel for the C5 for less than £300.00 on Ebay.

Hi Peter
Do you have a link (just in case)
I've seen some that say they are LUK but the original packaging is removed and replace with a plain box Mmmmm.
I have seen them for less than £300 ,some are solid flywheels and some are cheap rubbish .
Thank you

Seems ridiculously cheap, I would be interested in your observations. No mention of the clutch in negative feedback.
