That is bad news for me as I use Santander/Visa.

It shouldn't affect you in any way Steve - they'll just replace it with a Mastercard version automatically - no action needed on your side - apart from changing any saved cards on any sites - which you may need to have done anyway when they sometimes change the card number.

New card would be issued next March anyway so would still have to cope with that.

Security number rubbed off. Many guesses until I hit the right one.

Maybe I'll just stop buying things.

Santander replaced my Visa Debit card with a MasterCard version a good year or so ago so it looks like they've fallen out with Visa good style. My Nationwide Debit and Credit cards are still both Visa though.

Probably not James, like most companies, they likely can't be used in conjunction with other offers, but you'll have to ask Jim to confirm.
