Any assistance welcome
have a 3008 Allure 2013
The sat nav display is blank ...the radio / sat nav / camera / parking sensors are not working...whirring noise coming from the dash area like something is trying to engage
The head up display in front of the driver now shows the speed in kmh as opposed to mph
car was recently in a small very low speed accident ( rear bumber / wheelarch )
Peugoet main dealer says nothing to do with the accident & i need a new head unit ..(which i suspected they would say )...and that will be £1500 thank you !!!!

Get a new or replacement Head Unit - not being funny, but if you've had it diagnosed at the dealer, that is all they will do - either get it replaced or they can send it in for repair.
The Head units are very integrated into the vehicle, so without this it is going to affect your parking assistance and other functionality. If you can find a second hand unit (you haven't said what unit you have), you would need to get it configured correctly for the options on your car and also VIN coded too. I'm not too sure how much they charge for repairs - but probably somewhere in the region of £400-500 I suspect.

Re: Sat Nav / Radio / Camera / Parking Sensors Kaput !
The Head unit on our C5 has started playing up, either taking a long while to boot, stopping while driving or even the radio staying on after the car is turned off. I imagine if I take it to the dealer, they will simply replace the head unit (if not the dash!). Is there any alternative (eg software update, reset, repair)? Does Diag tool identify problem? If it turns out to be a "throw away item", is something like https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003 ... b3a1c36b-7 a proposition? I imagine the OEM unit would be very expensive.

Re: Sat Nav / Radio / Camera / Parking Sensors Kaput !
Ok, so you have the RT6 or eMyWay telematics system. I have moved this topic into the RT6 Forum.
Nice car by the way.
These RT6 units do not have an internal Hard Drive, they have a MicroSD card internal to the unit. Over time these like any other flash memory will eventually 'wear out' as the NAND memory cells have a finite number of times they can be written to. Over time, the files may become corrupt, or the system will slow down, reboot etc., and this is an indication of a failing internal MicroSD card.
There is a guide on the RT6 form for replacing this:
viewtopic.php?t=63227
... but beware, when using the latest 2.86 version of the firmware to recreate the operating system files and partitions on the replaced MicroSD, you may very well lose the vehicle-specific options stored in one of the user files once the operating system files are recreated.
One can use 'Mira Scripts' available on other Forums to extract this data before hand, so that it can be restored after the MicroSD card is replaced and the operating system restored. This should put back the vehicle configuration like parking assistance options etc, which cannot be done with Diagbox.

Slight correction. It's 'Mirascripts' not 'Mirror scripts'.

That wouldn't be much use here Paul - 'Lexia' becomes Dyslexia and Diagbox becomes Diagnose
