can anyone help when i use the keyfob to lock the doors the doors lock then unlock its driving me nuts

Just a thought.....does this occur on the passenger side as well? If so could it be a problem with one lock/motor only?

Mine had a similar problem with the centeral locking. The fault was traced to corrosion in the wiring harness on the front doors. These were replaced and so far no trouble.
The main reason for failure of these items is water ingress via the windows and sealing strips along the top of the doors.
I also had a similar problem on a Mk3 Astra some years ago, again this was the wiring harness.
