Oil capacity
Can someone please advise the correct oil capacity for a 2007 Xsara Picasso 1.6HDI (110bhp)? I think it's 3.75 litres including the filter, but some searches online for purchasing the correct oil, which I believe is 5W/30, suggests it's 4.5 litres. Many thanks.

Re: Oil capacity
3.75 is about right, it's a very small sump! I usually get 3 changes out of 2 x 5 litre 'cans'. Make sure to use the correct C2 grade low saps (= expensive!) oil.

Re: Oil capacity
Thanks Richard. I was considering either Shell Helix Ultra Professional AT-L 5W-30 or Total Quartz Ineo ECS 5W-30. Both appear the C2 grade and I assume both would be equally as good? Would you have a preference?

Re: Oil capacity
You can buy it in Slovenia for cca. 8 Ł per 1l (Total Ineo ECS 5-30)
