Hi everyone,
I've been having issues with my 2008 308 1.6hdi for the last month.
An injector died and it turns out that there was 2 copper seals fitted... so that was all sorted with new seals and a reconditioned injector, phew...
Then straight away I was getting hot start issues, which I believe was air in the lines, so a new fuel filter and replacement lines sorted that.
Now it's showing a camshaft sensor fault P0344.
So I've fitted a new Bosch sensor but now it won't start at all, I've just read that you need to set up the new sensor with a 1.4mm gap, so I'll have a try with that tomorrow.
I'm just looking for any advise as to why or how all of these issues came out of the woodwork at exactly the same time?
I'm hoping the gapping will sort the starting issue as I'm close to just scrapping the thing soon
Dv6 issues, please help 😥

Can't help massively with this, but did you code the injector after fitting?
Any idea what caused the injector to fail in the first place? The DPF isn't blocked by any chance is it?

What mileage has the vehicle done?

Hi,
Just to wrap this up...
Turns out I had 2 bad injectors, one was leaking fumes from the cylinder, the other was sending all of the fuel straight back to the tank, causing flooding on a hot start and smoke from the rear.
The seller of the injectors said that's they were virgin refurbished, so no coding required, to be honest with the replacement it's running better than ever, so I can't see coding being required?
