Folding mirror on my kadjar

I have recently bought a 2017 renault kadjar and the folding mirror on the passenger side has gone really slow and sometimes only closes half way when being locked. Any info on this is very much appreciated.

Try spraying some silicone oil / lubricant (not WD40 as this damages plastics) into the pivot of the folding area and operating the foldback a few times to get it worked in - they can become stiff and continued use like this will wear the plastic gearing more quickly.
