Hybrid problems

Post by Lordnorfolk »

Just replaced failed folding wing mirror on wife’s Ds5 hybrid, go to start, up come the faults, handbrake fault, engine fault. Figured starter battery low, charged over night, engine started then stuttered and stopped, now just turns over. I’m wondering as I disconnected the plus lead when charging I’ve confused the alarm.

Any help appreciated.

Did you follow the Battery disconnection / reconnection procedure?

Secondly, are you sure you have fitted the exact correct mirror unit?

BSI Reset / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure

Hi All.

Ds5 Hybrid problems again. After long standing 12 volt battery was flat, charged it now diesel will not start, turns over ok.

Had this problem before, paid for a home start chap to come out, he got in pressed start and away it went. Not this time.

Help.
