Answer on the card
Spoiler: show
Heat Pumps. Sweden has now by far the highest penetration of heat pumps per capita in the world, with the result that energy use for heating and DHW has drastically decreased in the last 30 years.

The heat pump - a Swedish success story!

Flag-flying is as prevalent as in the USA but the Swedes don't worship it like the Americans - it is just there, a bit of a tradition.

I often get the urge to fly a Swedish flag here, just because.

On my only visit to Sweden when my daughter was living just outside Gothenburg I was pleasantly surprised to see the number of flags flying on houses. I think it is great for a nation to be proud of its flag and display it accordingly!! :-D

With the answer in the spoiler I think we can draw a line under the Sweden World Leader question, the piece which alerted me to that particular claim to fame was in this video here

So time to move on with the next poser. I could set a very difficult one based on today's trip, but not sure if anyone will have the persistence to see it through to a conclusion. Still Dormouse produced an answer to the long pole recently, so we'll see. Clues with every guess if it helps.

Simple enough question Wheresthisthen? Obviously a right guess would be in a field in Northumberland but lets narrow it down a bit, and get whatsitcalled?
Wheresthisthen, What's it called?

Flippin Heck you have all done very well. Hurlestone is corect and I always thought it was Lilburn Tower, seeing as it was on the Lilburn Estate, but it is AKA Hurlestone Tower, and Lilburn Tower is what part of Dunstanburgh Castle is on the Coast.

Yes anyone who has cracked it please reveal your methods....I had enough difficulty finding out what it was called myself. The Tower is not ancient but built as part of the Milennium Celebrations, I know one of the brickies who worked on it!
