1998 peugeot 1.9td estate

Hi, changed diesel fiter , started well, a little air in system, tried to prime via tech book info , screw on pump , could not find this, so tried via union pipe, and injectors, as surggested, by tech book ,suddenly stopped , will not start now, any ideals pls

If it started originally then you will have just needed to keep the revs up few a seconds to allow it to self bleed.
By 'screw on pump', not sure what you mean here? There is no screw on the injection pump for bleeding.
To bleed it you should have a 'poire' (as you're in France). It's a squeezy one way bulb. You may have the type that has a plunger on top of the fuel filter (if the fuel filter is a cylindrical metal housing). Either way, turn the ignition on, to open the stop solenoid, and squeeze the bulb or press the plunger repeatedly until you can feel resistance then try and start it. This is having made sure all banjos, injectors and other pipe work are fully tight. It may take a few attempts to get it and keep it running while it purges, also keep the revs up around 2k. If this fails to start the engine unscrew one injector 1/4 of a turn and try again, once fuel comes out of the injector pipe re-tighten.

Thank you for that, yes its the squeeze pump primer, i will try again.
