404 Coupé Injection Owner

Post by Mike T »

Hi,

I've decided to join this forum because the Aussiefrogs forum is going to shut down soon and a lot of the members there will be coming over here, I think.

Located on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, I've owned at least one Peugeot since 1981 - all of them being 404s.

In 1989 I bought a rough 1966 404 Coupé Injection, a very rare (but not the only one) in Canada. It's now nearing the end of the restoration. You can see the body restoration here: https://coachwerks.com/MT1966Peugeot404C/index.html

I may post a detailed summary of the entire restoration in a separate thread here.

I have also been a member of Le Club 404 in France since 1984, and since 2009 I have been responsible for the Club's worldwide registry of the Peugeot 404. That website is here, in this case set to Great Britain in the "country" search: https://recensement.leclub404.com/brows ... GNE&page=1

Here's a photo of the car from 10 months ago.

Thanks, and I am glad to be here. Cheers

Welcome from me too Mike. There are many topics under discussion most of the time, not all directly car related, especially in the Off Topic Chat Lounge or OTCL which you can find from the Board Index above. Have a look round and join in wherever your interest takes you. :-D
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Welcome on board. What a cracking example - reminded me of 'Columbo's' Peugeot for a minute...
