Xantia S1 Interior Blower Resistor - Do Ineed to change this type?

Post by Rhothgar »

Afternoon,

Looking for advice on whether this type of blower resistor needs the resistor changing please?

This is on M728 GDL on which I have done the heater matrix.

I recall reading somewhere that a resistor needs changing when the fan speed changes when you put your foot on the brake and the speed either increases or decreases? Cannot recall exactly.

But I seem to recall it looking like this:-

I think N707 MGP has air conditioning and this is probably the type of resistor used on cars with air con as most online resistors of this type seem to be for air con?

Thanks in advance of any prompt replies which answers this question as I am now about to put the dash back in.

Be nice if I don’t have to remove it again. Sorry for short notice.
