Might that be the place that could have given birth to the Cortina and the Escort? :-D

Skipton

You have two choices for the world's best Pork Pies, and following Country House Gent's recommendation from "Journeys by Narrowboat", Stanforths gets the nod, piping hot, and oozing "juice".
Drake and Macefield also came well recommended by the locals, but Stanforth's got the nod today.

Can't remember why now but recently had to look up Ford village, no idea that it existed.
Something remarkable came from there I believe. Can't remember what though.

If it's the Ford down here, then it boasts an open prison, are very large car boot sale, a recycling facility that takes the co-mingle from West Sussex, and an old WW2 airfiled, and I think The Engine Shed is still there https://www.gaugemasterretail.com/magento/howto/

:)
Sadly no longer a C5 owner :(

Kelso in pictures
Look closely and the town nameplate is covered in stickers from scooter clubs all around the country. Not sure why, or why this particular sign

Nice places to stop off at.....maybe
IT was the day after Storm Arwen had struck, and the cliff-foot car park at Saltburn was scattered with windscreen-smashing pebbles that the sea had flung up, and the doors of the coloured beach huts had been so thoroughly pummelled they looked like an army of malignant drunks had kicked them in.

When we arrived, the tide was safely out, but still towering waves came thundering in, the roaring noise of their crash and suck filling the eardrums as the white mist of their salty spray and spume filled the bay beneath Huntcliff.

It was quite thrilling to walk on the beach, but then came a new addition to the white mist: wet flakes of sleety snow blowing down from Marske, and it quickly became quite chilling.
