407 BSI id and removal

Hi

Having pulled the glove box out of my right hand drive 407, I've located the fuses and BSI but am having troubling pulling it out of the white cage.

I took all the wires off and the top fuse holder, can swing it forward but can't seem to disconnect it from the pivot points.

Any tricks ? Do you really need to take the whole dash off ?

If I remember right it will only release once you pivot it up high enough. The pivots have a flat bit on them so they only slide out at the right angle
