Re: Citroen DS5 - fault codes
hi. looks like 2 faults and a BSI unrecorded U1F00 message. B1825 appears to be airbag related in the general search but comes up with a transmission/gearbox error when you add citroen to the search and the other two are probably linked to the DPF system. Did they all occur at once or have they increased in number over time? what symptoms lead to you checking for fault codes?

Re: Citroen DS5 - fault codes
I keep finding all sorts of different answers for b1825. Put up as much information about what is happening and I am sure there will be someone who understands it. cheers. Oh and welcome too.
Re: Citroen DS5 - fault codes
Hello all!
The symptom was that the engine and service failure showed up. I connected my diagnostic tool and the reading was as follows: P0487 and P1499 and P2566. I taken out the throttle and EGR - cleaned and washed, during cleaning I did not find any visible defects, only the throttle linkage was worn out so I repaired them. As a preventive measure, I replaced the electrovalve that controls the operation of the turbine and EGR. After these works, the car started normally, while driving at about 2000 engine speed, the message about the engine failure occurred again. After connecting the diagnostic device, it showed this faults codes: P0487, P2562, P1497 and P1499.
I am able to buy throttle or EGR and replace it but need to know which one causing the problem.
Please also tell me if you need to do EGR adaptations after cleaning it.
I would be grateful for any advice on how to deal with this problem.

Re: Citroen DS5 - fault codes
I would hold off replacing parts for now:
Look at all these faults below and you will see that they all have in common the vacuum circuit. So that is where I would start....
P0487: is to do with your Air mixer: Position incorrect (Open too far). The position measured is greater than the reference by more than 50 % for 6 seconds.
Suspect areas: Air mixer, Air doseur electrovalve, Position repeat, Vacuum circuit, Electrical harnesses
P1497: Variable geometry turbocharger: Position incorrect in relation to the requirement (Not enough turbocharging) (APV). Positive discrepancy above 30% detected for 6 seconds between the position reference point and the measured position of the variable geometry of the turbocharger.
Suspect areas:
Turbocharger, Turbocharger solenoid valve, Position indicator of the turbocharger, Vacuum circuit, Electrical harnesses
P2562: Variable geometry turbocharger: Position incorrect in relation to the requirement (Not enough turbocharging). Positive discrepancy above 40% detected for 6 seconds between the position reference point and the measured position of the variable geometry of the turbocharger.
Suspect areas:
Turbocharger (Variable geometry open), Turbocharger solenoid valve, Electrical harness, Position indicator of the turbocharger, Vacuum circuit

Thanks for this.
Will gonna look on the highlighted area and see if I can find a problem.

Re: Citroen DS5 - fault codes
Take a VERY close look at the vacuum pipes. Sometimes all it takes is a pinhole to cause problems.

Re: Citroen DS5 - fault codes
Hello again
I have reviewed all vaccum curcuit.
I found nothing, everything looks good.
I measured the voltage on the throttle and EGR plugs and everything is correct, and the problem persists. Also after turning off the engine and listen to the EGR, you can hear that as if the hatch wanted to set itself. This sound is repeated three times and stops.
I also took pictures of the airflow circuit on my diagnostic tool, so I provide it for inspection, maybe someone will see a problem there. Can also provide other system information if needed.

Re: Citroen DS5 - fault codes
I'm sure that someone will either confirm or shoot me down in flames but the sounds you hear from the EGR are normal with some engines. It is operating the 'throttle' to confirm operation and clean it.

hello! I have a DS5. 2.0 L. diesel. The bartender has problems. There are pubon cases very well. Cases do not turn on at all. It can be turned off and on frequently along the way.I changed the gas 2 times and the same problem. When it works it cools down very well. but it turns out that along the way it is deactivated or when you start the car for the first time it does not start

Hello! I have a DS5. 2.0 L. diesel. The air conditioner compressor does not activate according to the command. It works for 30 minutes, or 1 hour, or 2 hours, or it does not turn on at all. I installed a new compressor but it does the same problem.
