citroen c4 2014 p1445 Purge flow sensor circuit high input

Post by akavintz »

Hi all,

My daughters c4 has gone into limp mode and this is the only code i have found.

Ive read about virtual fap filter reset or additive cylce reset.

My question is if i download diagbox what hardware do i need and is there a digibox guide online?

Is there an android app to do the same, i have a bluetooth obd dongle.

Thanks
Vince

Might I suggest you consider getting a decent Lexia clone system (which should have the relevant software, including DiagBox). The vehicles from PSA (including those made in association with Fiat) have their own unusual 'language', and most generic code readers find it difficult to 'read' this. As the Lexia clone is a copy of the equipment PSA use (albeit unauthorised) it CAN not only read this language, it can display it well (whether humans can understand it is a different problem!). You will need to make sure it has the full 'chipset' (OK, octo-couplers), as some of the cheaper clones have a reduced 'chipset', and cannot 'read' certain vehicles. If you make sure the equipment you get also has the S1729 module (or you purchase it separately) it will mean you can also 'read' your van.

Hi Vince and welcome to the FCF.
There is a discount scheme available to members to buy the kit from Easydiagnostics, details available at this post:

I have an older Lexia unit (you will need to have a laptop computer to use it) that I got from a company called Easy Diagnostics. It is NOT cheap (nearly £120 for the equipment), but as a dealership can charge £60 (or more) per diagnostics session it can very quickly save you money. You may need to get the S1729 module elsewhere (as it seems they do not sell them, due to quality issues).
