This is a bit off topic but there are electric cars in here, the Polestar and at least one ugly SUV

Inside the industry: Has anyone done the decade better than Volvo?.

Which may be a PR exercise. There have been lots of grumbles about working conditions in Volvo factories lately - although all Volvo workers had a huge bonus paid to them within the past couple of months.

The headline I saw Steve was
Nissan wake up from their slumbers after reading FCF Car News Global and Domestic thread Stellantis still asleep

Beebs
If talks turn into action great news. About time Nissan woke up from their slumbers. Stellantis are going to leave a nice little hole in the UK Manufacturing Market easily expanded into if they don't start having some positive plans for their Ellesmere Port and Luton plants away from an inevitable decline by continuing to make dead-end products, and Honda prematurely have exited stage left. Crank it up Nissan.

Nice Bridge. Looks like the metal bit is a good deal more modern than the ends, Maybe replaced some traditional arches spanning the river.

You picked the same part as me Neil, I copied that photo for my old friend, she has a painting of it done by her cousin on her lounge wall.
It's Bigsweir Bridge if you would like to know more.

Thanks Gibbo.... its a listed structure and unlike my first supposition, the ironwork is the original bit and was designed by Charles Hollis of London and cast at Merthyr Tydfil. In fact my supposition was 100% wrong, the flood arches at either end were added at a later date than the ironwork :-D

I like a nice bridge.

You see the little toll cottage/shed at the right end, one of our now deceased villagers was born in there and lived most of his early life there.

Car of the day Peugeot e-2008.

A number of factors are at work to make acquiring and running a new fully electric Peugeot e-2008, right here right now, cheaper over 3 years than the petrol and diesel versions with the much lower windscreen sticker buy it outright prices.

Car deals change all the time, and incentives like manufacturers deposit contributions if you catch the deal can significantly reduce costs. Peugeot are offering these on e-2008 deals of around £2,000.

Residual values assumed in the finance deals are falling for ICE cars, and rising for secondhand EV's which are expected to have a very healthy market in 3 years time.

This all means that the monthly PCP outgoings for fully electric on a Peugeot e-2008 are within £50 of an equivalent deal on the same spec petrol or diesel version. Tax and fuel savings for the fully electric more than compensate.

Lets see if we can find a non-annoying review of the Peugeot e-2008...could be difficult :-D

It was...so I have abandoned it! If you fancy one have a test-drive. I'm bored by people showing me boots seats and glove-boxes!

MG5 one of the best value new EV's now has a "long range" model with a bigger battery (61.1 kWh (250 miles WLTP combined cycle) as opposed to standard 51.1 kWh (214 miles WLTP combined cycle ))

The outfit I got my Leaf from are now an MG dealer.
