Some extraordinary low figures there, Neil - and some surprises, too (like C6 and 607).
605 no more than a large workshopful now.

The large proportion of SORN vehicles has to reflect the comparatively high cost (eg VED, where it applies) of keeping the cars actively on the road. UK rust takes its toll, too, unlike southern Europe, where, for example, C15's in daily use abound. We probably have more C15's in the Malaga region alone than in the while of the UK, SORN included!

The decline of Xantia is sobering. My guess is that it was often bought in large numbers by folk (and businesses) who were never particularly attached to Citroen - particularly the non-Hydractive versions, which dominated. In some ways, it was "just another medium-sized car", run, and disposed of, not seen as anything at all special, or needing a bit of special care.

Another one from PetrolBlog I posted on another thread. The last scrappage scheme disposed of quite a few French Favourites
