Ok, so just be aware that sometimes the clone interfaces may get deactivated when connected up to PSA servers - I'm hoping it won't but it has been known - did you download your Diagbox software direct from Peugeot? If you did then you should be ok.

Let us know how you get on.

Ok, so this is what I was referring to. These are 'modified' versions of Diagbox that have been altered from the originals for the likes of the public to use and may be detected as such when you try and connect up with your purchased token to PSA servers to do the additive reset.

I can't confirm this of course, but just be prepared in case.

If he is using Diagbox, then yes it will be fine for diagnostics and repair procedures as Diagbox contains the software for both brands. The only thing I can think off is whether if he needs to log onto the servers whether his log in will also work for Peugeot - but he made not need to if he can get it to work without.

That is correct for cracked versions of diagbox but the genuine one needs separate licenses for each brand so unless the Citroen dealer has paid for the Peugeot license it wont have it.
You can however just manually input an equivalent Peugeot model to get offline functionality.

You can't David - they are not available to the public - even the dealers lease the equipment and that costs thousands. I've replied to your PM in answer to your other questions.

Like I said in my other reply in your private message, and repeated here for the benefit of others. If the engine ECU is not aware that the additive system has been reset then it may well continue to put warning messages up and the service light on until it is reset.

There may come a point where if the warning is ignored and it is not reset then it may go into limp home mode and reduce engine performance to protect the emission system.

So as I suggested try not to use the car until you can get it into the dealer for a reset, but if you do, try and keep the journey long to give the car a chance to warm up and do a natural regeneration. But I would really limit journeys until you can have it reset.
